Access

- by train
the nearest train station is in Rouffach : from there, you may reach the Val du Pâtre in 2 or 3 hours walking. The train stations in Mulhouse and Colmar (Service group: 03 89 36 12 66) offer many connections with the major train routes and offer the possibility to combine train and bus (see below).

- by bus
bus station is located in front of the train station in Colmar. Bus connection to Guebwiller via Soultzmatt (bus companies: SODAG 03 89 76 91 61or KUNEGEL 03 89 24 65 65). In Soultzmatt, get down the bus at the “Mairie” bus stop and walk to the Val du Pâtre (see below).

- on foot
from Soutltzmatt town center walk to the church; behind the church, take the path (Chemin de Croix) to the Val du Pâtre (about 30 minutes walk on a gentle slope).

after Soultzmatt, go past the water factory and the picnic area on your left; turn left to “la Gauchmatt” (the Val du Pâtre is also sign posted) ; at “la Gauchmatt” turn left after the football ground and the military cemetery, direction Val du Pâtre.
