The Val du Pâtre: a natural and historical heritage in the heart of Alsace.
Since 1930, the Val du Pâtre estate
is the Mecca of scouting in the Haut-Rhin and has a tradition to welcome supervised
groups of teenagers for camping in the heart of Alsace.
Hidden away in a small valley at the foothill of the Vosges Mountain, the
Val du Pâtre comes into sight at the end of the road in its greenery
case.
The Val du Pâtre estate spreads itself over 5 hectares of clearing surrounding
a chapel, place of pilgrimage dedicated to the Blessed Virgin since the 13th

The Val du Pâtre is located in the area of Soultzmatt, close to the major roads and easily approachable from Colmar or Mulhouse.
All Scouts movements acknowledged by the World Organisation of Scout Movement are welcome. However, subject to a legal existence and to activities compatible with the objectives of the scouting , any other groups may have access to the campsite.
